Mirant's Filtration and Drying Machine is a combination of a dehydrator and a drying system, which simplifies the production process and effectively improves production efficiency.
We has updated the design and improvement based on the original dehydration and drying machine, added pretreatment system equipment, greatly reduced the failure rate of the dehydration and drying machine, reduced the number and time of downtime, and made the equipment run better and more efficiently. The material can pass through the screen quickly, and the larger particle size material moves on it to the discharge end, thus achieving a high-efficiency and high-precision screening effect.
Mirant's Filtration and Drying Machine uses centrifugal force to quickly remove moisture from part of the slurry that flows into the rotor. The water is discharged through the bottom drain pipe, and the granular material is quickly sent to the discharge port by the spiral blades of the rotor. Auxiliary hot air enters through the upper air inlet of the dryer to generate countercurrent with the granular material. The high-pressure airflow can quickly remove water vapor. Since the granular material rotates centrifugally at high speed, the material will become dry. The whole process only takes a few seconds.

Pre-treatment system:
1. Removal of agglomerates prevents agglomerates from entering the dryer directly to prevent damage to the rotor blades;
2. Dehydration removes 85% to 95% of the pellet cooling water, thereby reducing the load on the dryer and increasing the rate;
3. Separation dryer removes remaining water from pellets or recycled plastics.
