Working Principle

The screen surface of the Screw-type Screen is composed of a group of parallel spiral shafts. The spiral shafts are divided into two types: long-lead right-handed threads and left-handed threads. They each occupy half of the screen surface. When the equipment is started, the spiral shaft rotates, and the material entering the surface is pushed by the threaded ribs on the screw, and then the screen product is obtained through the screen holes designed between the threaded ribs or grooves and the threaded ribs or grooves on the adjacent screws. The spiral shaft has a high speed, and the material moves on the screen surface at a speed of 0.5~1 m/s, so the machine has a large processing capacity. At the same time, when the block material slides against the surface of the screw, the wet and sticky powder attached to its surface can be washed off. Therefore, no matter how much moisture the material has, the screen surface is always clean after screening, and there will be no clogging of the screen holes. In addition, when sorting materials, the materials are always at different radial positions of the spiral shaft. When the spiral shaft rotates, the linear speed of the materials is different, so the materials are loose and can pass through the screen. In addition, there is a drop when the materials enter the first sieve after being screened, and then enter the second sieve. The materials fall and roll to be fully loose, and they have a full chance to pass through the screen, so they have a very high screening efficiency. The sieve holes are dynamically translated and unobstructed, so they are highly efficient and belong to active screening. In addition, because the linear speed directions of the two adjacent screws that form the sieve holes are opposite in the direction of the projection of the sieve holes, the material is subjected to a pair of force couples to roll instead of being subjected to the squeezing force, so there will be no new coal block crushing.


Structural Features

The Screw-type Screen is composed of two, three or more sections of the same structure. Each section is set in a ladder shape, connected by a transition plate in the middle. The unit consists of a frame, a transmission box, a motor, and a spiral shaft. The screen surface is composed of a row of spiral shafts with right-handed (left-handed) large lead threads arranged as required. The screen surface is sturdy and durable, and has a large feed rate. The front end of the spiral shaft is supported by the shaft support on the frame, and the rear end is connected to the transmission box by a rigid coupling. The motor drives the transmission box through a V-belt, so that the spiral shaft obtains power and rotates to perform screening operations. In addition, in order to prevent the screen from overloading, safety protection devices are set in both the mechanical and electrical parts. If three or more units of different specifications are combined, a variety of screening products with different specifications can be obtained, achieving the purpose of simplifying the selection process.
